First time using the Mac? Like the first time my first time using Mac OS X also somewhat confusion in selecting the software for productivity. Here I will review some of the software for users of Mac OS X early, I will choose software or freeware opensource.

Howto : 1. When start your Mac hold  + and press button Command + S. 2. It's should be your Mac entering terminal mode. Just type  "mount -uw /" (without quote) 3. Type again "rm -f /var/db/.AppleSetupDone" 4. Then type "shutdown -r now" Aftet step 4, easy and fast and efficient above, your Mac will restart again.. then voila!! Mac OS like brand new.. Welcome screen will show again. After that you can create new Administrator login then reset your old account password.

create cross cable ethernet to connect between mac and windows set your windows ip (eg: 192.168.1.1 subnet 255.255.255.0 gateway leave blank) set your mac ip  (eg: 192.168.1.2 subnet 255.255.255.0 gateway leave blank) make sure you can ping ip from mac to windows in windows set folder documents to full sharing (right click properties - sharing) take files from mac, use command opt://192.168.1.1 (Go - Connect to Server) Have a Try :D
