For you who love on the Apple product, this write must read. Currently, products from Apple Ipod to Macbook sold to the market. This is not aimed to topple Apple, but for the press in order to make the product more friendly to the earth.

Since the first time, I am addicted to Apple Macintosh products. A stable performance and easy to use makes me chose mac as daily life. But not how long and I was quite disappointed to read the Apple site at Greenpeace. In the site, exposed the fact that Apple is one of the producers that are not friendly to the environtment.

Chemicals that are dangerous to this day is used by Apple in the Ipod and Macbook products are Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and Brominated Fire Retardants (BFRs).

Take the example of the toxic plastic Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). Other companies have set a date to remove PVC from their products. Apple has not. Major new product lines like the iPod nano and MacBook still contain PVC.

This material is very dangerous and difficult to be recycled. If burned, it will remove the substance Chlorine is harmful to the environment. Waste products from Apple was much to be removed some areas in Asia. In addition, Apple is still using some of the Mercury products. Does not believe? If you have a Macbook (either pro or not), try to see the packaging. Noted that the product still contains hazardous materials are.

Fortunately, some time ago, Steve Jobs has promised to start the second product is dangerous in all Apple products are starting the end of 2008.
