apple notebook timelineNotebook or laptop at this time has many kind, both in terms of price, design and features. From old school iBook, Powerbook to Macbook or Macbook Air. Diversity of this option can make the most confused expert buyers though. Here are some tips and considerations that can be calculated for buying Apple Notebook.

Macbook Pro

If you need a large screen (eg to make technical diagram size which is very big) but  not too much work with portability, and sometimes turn on and run several applications at once.

Macbook Air

If the need a very good portability, lazy carry bulky notebook in the bag, does not require too much storage (70 to 100 gigabytes is enough) but does not require too much big screen size and does not require any peripherals connected to the computer, then the Macbook Air is a choice.

Beside its usual portable, lightweight, the ergonomic and really as simple as it should be. Reasonable if the breakthrough is also spelled out. For people which is often very mobile, Macbook Air can be a competitive option. There’sa people do not drive to the so-optic frankly, because they are more prefer to run via external-HD (except for matters may install) and indeed correct, Macbok Air is design for the wireless world. Cons- bound in its additional peripherals that are have to prepare and also at a time making people who can actually mobile :-) but on speed, confirm this laptop is fast :-)

Macbook
Fit for daily task, office requirement can be met. Hobby photography & graphic editing are also suitable.
If you need a combination of the most balanced between portability, connectivity with other peripherals, and the ability to work with the big screen, then the Macbook provide aspects required.

Macbook Unibody: the main effect of major changes is in design. Who feels significant, this lightweight laptop was, in fact only slightly different with Macbook-Air. Performance for 2.0 & 2.4 GHz, confirm quickly. Try several multitasking, includes Photoshop & iWork, numbers etc, performs well, this notebook is well-balance between performance, peripherals, and compact form-factor. With a light weight but can get the drive peripherals, input-output audio, mini-DVI, 2 USB ports, ethernet, this gear is balanced between features & heavy weight to those who love mobile. And One significant case, Macbook-unibody has expandable memory (Macbook Air fix with 2 GB memory, not expandable).
From the performance, etc., the third engine is equally powerful, reliable, no problem.

Anyways, I believe that Apple is capitalising on people and if Sony or Dell wanted to produce a notebook like the Air, they could've done it long time ago! Seriously, Air is just a Sony Vaio but with no optical drive, only 3 usable slots instead of 8, fixed flat battery instead of a changeable one, curved edges to fool the eyes of it's thinness with a bigger footprint (Width and Depth), mono speaker instead of 2 stereos, an integrated graphic card instead of a proper card, no fingerprint security and a small capacity hard disk instead of a 160 GB option.

I can already imagine the thinest notebook in the world after a month if Sony drops all the things Apple has dropped, but I hope not, because all types of people need these dropped things, either one or the other. :)

The Macbook air is great. I recently trashed my Dell and purchased one. The notebook is one of the lightest I have ever owned. I guess thats why they call it the "Air".

To comment on the last two comments left. The Macbook Air is definitely costly for the hardware you're getting. But man oh man that thing is slick! You will look sexier with one, guaranteed!

The Macbookpro is the workhorse of the creative industry. I have used each iteration of Powerbook and Macbookpro for the last 7 years (I think that is how long they have been around) and love it.
It is a thing of beauty.
