The suggestion you have posted about Mac is much useful. I've never heard about such an anti-virus software which is more secure. Choosing a correct anti-virus software is very important…. right

Macs are certainly vulnerable to malware and any virus written will be targeted at a specific Os so is unlike a pc virus which will wipe out all windows operating systems regardless of version. If you do have a pc there is always the option of Linux which has few viruses. You can get free anti virus software for your mac though and if you don't backup your important info regularly then it may be worth looking at, its too late once the data has been wiped. (ClamXav is a free antivirus for Macs)
