2. Partition
Prepare the empty partition on your harddrive mac, use a disk utility application on the MAC OSX Tiger or Leopard (for the Mac G4). With the Journal notes Partition hard it is enable.

3. The installation (Installation)
In this step several machines running smoothly without hindrance, as well as by installing the pc or Intel-based notebook. The following process:

- Reboot your machine
- Press and hold the key to booting to c cd
- Rise and yaboot follow the installation cd live in general.
-Troubleshooting
- If the CD does not show the process of booting live cd, try to restart your machine back in the same process above. When the menu appears yaboot press the tab to see the list bootable Kernels. I recommend to the following command:
live-nosplash-powerpc video = ofonly video

To enable non-splash screen booting ubuntu, which will be in the show in the form of verbose.
- If you stop at the busybox shell, this idea occurred in karenakan module in the need for access to the root filesystem can not be loaded. In busybox (intramfs) prompt, type:
modprobe ide-core
exit

then booting will continue.

4. After Installation (Post Installation)
After the installation is finished you are logged in kelingkungan ubuntu linux. Congratulations you have successfully install Ubuntu on PowerPC-based machines. There are some problems that usually there after the installation is complete, namely:
